This is one SUPER LOOKING and IMPRESSIVE CANVAS TENT!
This is constructed of WHITE 14oz water repellent canvas.
Heavy Water-repellent cotton canvas is used to create this large
round tent in a medieval style with super awl-stitched grommets at the roof edge (16) and one at the peak with 8 layers of canvas a wood disk sewn inside. The grommets will NEVER tear out. 14 ounce white natural cotton canvas water-repellent construction.
16 panels in the roof, make for a
quality, labor intensive construction. Webbing is used throughout to reinforce seams, preventing any stress on the roof fabric, and in fact, the strips of canvas on the seams serve to make this thing pretty indestructible in normal use. There are NO modern parts used on this tent, just outdoor rated water-repellent canvas.
A full 12 foot
diameter tent, with 6 ft-3in walls, which is a big size that will fit all of your
gear with room to spare. Use with 1 center pole, which can be as simple as a 2x4, threaded pipe, or something custom, and if you want you
can add up to 16 side poles inside for shorter rope lines, and to make
the walls look a bit neater. If you put it up right, the side poles can be very lightweight. You can use spokes instead of side poles, but given that the spokes would be the same length as side poles, I would think in medieval times they would have used poles instead of spokes in this case. It is not hard to set it up either way.
Requires but not included: 16 rope lines, about 16ft long before tying,
or 16 - 12ft lines if you use poles. 3/8 inch rope looks best. 16 - 12 to 16 inch spikes for the rope lines. 16 - 6 inch spikes for the wall bottom.
12ft center pole
Walls are removable, and hung on rustproof aluminum hooks. There are two walls so you can open it in both the front and back. The ends of the walls have a generous overlap and two rows of ties to make it nice and tight.
Fabric is not fire treated, but
spray-on fire treatments are available on the internet if you need to do that. These are the
best quality and best deal on rounds you will see, and they are ready to ship! This
is not some cheap nylon or polyester tent, with a huge shipping cost - this is a
real canvas tent and will block the sun and rain, and has lots of hand
stitching on the hand-sewn grommets. If you are buying a tent on the internet, be aware that some people are selling canvas tents and are claiming it is heavier canvas than it actually is. Check out the shipping weight and calculate the yardage to get the real amount.
No sod cloths or floor are included.
Comes in 2 boxes and is about 76 lbs total weight.
This is a VERY HIGH QUALITY carefully sewn canvas tent, with straight stitching and everything is guaranteed to be high quality. If you are not satisfied, you can return it for a full refund in original condition.

Note that ropes, stakes, and poles are not included. This includes just the canvas roof and walls. You can get the ropes here on the site or make them yourself. Landscape spikes are often used for stakes and can be bought at any home center. Center poles can be made from threaded pipe or wood. A 2x4 is plenty strong enough.
